Secret Manager Service

Secret Manager Service manages customer-specific secrets for Mobile Engage customers. Secrets are securely stored in Google Cloud Secret Manager.

It provides the following features:

  • Creation of secrets for new Mobile Engage customers.

  • Periodic rotation of secrets, every 90 days.

  • Delayed disabling of old secrets, 90 days after rotation.

  • Delayed destroying of old secrets, 180 days after they were disabled.

  • Destruction of secrets for customers who are no longer using Mobile Engage.
