SDS removes segment diff versions older than 35 days. This means that a client has to fetch the segment diff at least once in 35 days in order to stay in sync. For example, if a client fetches the segment diff after 36 days, one of the segment diff versions will be missing because it was cleaned up, and therefore the diff will not be complete and correct.
